No one understands the handling and transport of furniture and household effects as well as we do. A packing & shipping department was set up over 50 years ago to cater to the ever-increasing demand for our furniture from overseas. As a result furniture packed and shipped by Don Carolis was received at destinations abroad in excellent condition. Before long we were inundated with requests from both expatriates and Sri Lankan Nationals to pack & ship their furniture & other household effects for shipment abroad.

Subsequently Warehouses were also constructed to store packed goods prior to shipment. In pursuing our goal of an all round quality performance our warehouses are now fumigated regularly and pest control procedures are rigidly enforced. A 24-hour Security Service provides round the clock security for goods stored in these Warehouses.

The Packing and Shipping Department later expanded to Freight forwarding as well. The Shipping and Freight Forwarding area of our department has established close and cordial relations with several Air-Cargo and shipping agents who have afforded us priority status in shipment of customer goods. We also have a wide network of Agents worldwide who ensure the provision of a door-to-door service on arrival of customer goods in the territories covered by them.

We have identified some of our regular clients who have remained loyal for a period of more than 5 years and some even for more than 10 years & our services exclusively. We are indeed proud to state that we are the only firm of packers to be entrusted with work in the Maldives.
